Sign in with a one-time code sent to your email; there’s no password. Each profile shows the doctor’s specialty, a few lines in their own words, and the plans they offer.

Each doctor sets the price, you pay once
There’s no single price on x.doctor. Each doctor sets the price of each plan in euros, and you see it on their profile before you pay. A doctor may also make a plan free.

Licensed, and checked first
Before a doctor’s profile is first shown to patients, x.doctor checks their license. Ask us and we’ll tell you which body licensed the doctor and their license number. Many of the doctors work in Moldova.

Nobody assigns you a doctor. The list shows the doctors taking new patients, and nobody can pay for a higher place in it. You read the profiles and prices and pick one yourself.

Not for emergencies
In an emergency, call 112: it works in Moldova and across the EU. Elsewhere, use the local emergency number. An opinion in the app does not replace an in-person examination.

Install the app, sign in with the code sent to your email, choose a doctor and a plan, then write your question and attach your results or call.
How do I get a medical second opinion online?
Choose a doctor in the same specialty and send the results, scan report or surgeon’s plan you already have, then ask your questions in the chat or on a video call.
Can I find a pediatrician, gynecologist or dermatologist online?
Yes: a pediatrician, an obstetrician-gynecologist, a dermatologist and a family doctor are among the specialties.
How much does it cost to talk to a doctor online?
Each doctor sets their own prices in euros, and you see them on the profile before you pay.
Can I ask a doctor online for free?
Downloading, signing in and looking through the profiles is free, and writing to a doctor needs a plan, which that doctor may make free.
Who are the doctors, and is their license checked?
Before a profile is first shown, x.doctor checks the license and, if you ask, tells you the doctor’s full name, the licensing body and the license number.
Can I send test results, an MRI report or photos?
Yes: you can send photos, PDFs such as a blood test or an MRI report, and videos of up to five minutes, but not the image files from an MRI or CT disc.
Can I talk to the doctor by video call?
Yes: while your plan is active you can call the doctor by audio or video from the chat, and the doctor can call you.
Can I ask a doctor about my child?
Yes: a parent asks from their own account, accounts are for adults of 18 or older, and if your child has trouble breathing, a seizure or is hard to wake, call 112.
Can a doctor on x.doctor write me a prescription?
No: the app issues no prescriptions, sick notes or referrals.
I live outside Moldova. Can I use x.doctor?
Yes, for example from Italy, Germany, the UK or Ireland: install it as usual and send local results as a PDF or a photo.
Can I use x.doctor in an emergency?
No: call 112 in Moldova and the EU, or the local emergency number elsewhere, and don’t wait for a reply when something can’t wait.
