When to call 112 instead
x.doctor is not for emergencies. Call 112 straight away if your child has any of these:
- A baby under 3 months with a temperature of 38 °C or higher
- Trouble breathing, or blue or gray lips
- Unusually drowsy, floppy or hard to wake
- A seizure (fit)
- Signs of dehydration: no wet diaper for 8 hours or more, no tears, a very dry mouth
- A rash that does not fade when you press a glass against it
- A serious fall, a head injury, or swallowing something harmful

Can I use x.doctor for my child if we live abroad?
Yes, x.doctor works outside Moldova, and you pay the pediatrician’s price in euros by card. A report from your local pediatrician can go into the chat as a photo or PDF; in an emergency abroad, call the local emergency number.
Can a pediatrician online help with a fever or a cough?
A pediatrician on x.doctor can go through your child’s temperature, symptoms and any results you send, and recommend what to do next, including whether your child should be seen in person. x.doctor does not issue prescriptions.
What can I send to the pediatrician?
In the x.doctor chat you can send photos, such as a rash or a thermometer reading, and PDFs like blood test results. Video files can’t be sent, but you can show your child on a video call.
Does x.doctor replace a visit to the pediatrician?
No. A pediatrician on x.doctor gives a second opinion and recommendations from what you describe and send, and nobody can examine your child through the app. In an emergency, call 112 in Moldova or the local number abroad.
Can I ask a pediatrician online at night or at the weekend?
