Skin signs that need 112, not an app
A chat is the wrong place for these. Call 112 if you notice any of them:
- A rash that spreads fast, with fever or feeling very unwell
- Blistering or peeling skin over large areas, or sores in the mouth or eyes
- Swelling of the face, lips or tongue, or trouble breathing
- A rash that does not fade when you press a glass against it
- A hot, red, painful area of skin that is spreading quickly

Can a dermatologist online check a mole from a photo?
A dermatologist on x.doctor can look at clear photos and tell you whether a mole should be checked in person, and how soon. A photo can’t replace an examination with a dermatoscope.
How should I photograph my skin for a dermatologist?
Stand by a window, turn the flash off, and take one close-up plus one wider shot that shows where on the body the spot is. Send both in the x.doctor chat; a ruler beside the spot shows its size.
What can’t a dermatologist on x.doctor do?
